I just spent $352 on textbooks for college. There was a while when I thought I'd be able to manage in college financially, and then I saw this (and though it's cheaper than most sets, [thank GOD for half.com]) and I'm just like "ohhhh well...." It's so much!!! Gahhh.

Also, my English class is going to consist of studying the Haitian Revolution and the involvement of Toussaint L'overture... I dunno. I kind of wish it could be the French Revolution or American colonialism if anything, but whatever.

Furthermore, I am really excited for my Astronomy course... It is one of my only non-honors courses (the other is req. communications), so the class size is like 120 or something and of course it will be in a lecture hall. I dunno what the entire thing entails though! I hear it involves a lot of complicated mathematics, so I guess that'll make me happy in some aspects because I like using brainpower but at the same time.... lol I thought it was gunna be like the course in Harry Potter hahahahahaha x)

Trying to read the first six books of Harry Potter in two weeks while I have a job (I have a job!!!.... at KFC :p) is stressful. You try it sometime! 

I am liking the summer a lot. Haven't had the "summer fling" quite yet, but I'm working on it...

Okay, so Harry Potter fans, tell me what you think of this: 

I was reading Quidditch Through the Ages by J.K. yesterday and I noticed in the Foreword that Dumbledore writes, he says that, "She [Madam Pince] suggested several alternatives, such as telling the people from Comic Relief U.K. that the library had burned down, or simply pretending that I had dropped dead without leaving instructions." Could this be a link to Half-Blood Prince? Tell me what you think.

Horray for no free time at all! Lack of free time brings a lack of drawings. But I've been working on this for a while so I'm really proud with myself. xD I like it. 


In other news, I am REALLY excited for the band feild trips, they are going to be so fun! We had a meeting tonight to go over the itenerary and what not. Band parents are the best parents in the history of parents that are parents of extracuricular activities.

Oh and best of luck to all of you, although if you are reading this, then you've probobly made it through the Ides of March; but you know, the Ides have come, but they have not passed. Do me a favor and try not to die! :D

In other news, my birthday is in like, three weeks, and I'm excited. Birthday = TABLET!!!! I'm watching "I Love Toys" and since I'm going to bed soon, I'm DVR-ING the next new episode because I'm going to be sleeping.

I also drew another picture, Ginny Weasley, I'm expecting to go and draw something with Ron, his birthday was last week and I forgot to draw something. D:

I went to Sonny's BBQ with my mom for Mother-Son night, and it was really awesome. My dad and my sister were at the Father-Daughter dance so we had a night to ourselves. We talked about Josh Deibel, it was sad, but nice to talk to a family member about it, which helped even more. [thank you, Katie] Then we talked about curse words all the drive home, it was really fun. I love my mom, she's the best. Sonny's BBQ has really good ribs by the way. Delicious!
