I have been focusing a lot of my time recently into the planning for a webcomic that I want to make. It is based off of one of my stories I had when I was younger, except it is COMPLETELY different. I just cling to the characters (even though they are unrecognizable from their incarnations four months ago, and don't even share the same names!) I've had since fifth grade. It is becoming srs business.

To get a taste of what I am doing, I'm currently writing up the Armonian naming system, which takes a lot of influence off the Russian system, except slaves are accounted for as well. I really can't believe I'm thinking this up in so much detail, but I just am getting REALLY excited for it and yeah haha OK THAT IS ALL.

I'm a hip hop dancer now. I joined a dance group called "Fresh Off the Beat," which stemmed off of UCF's Filipino Student Association... So I'm one of three or four white peeps while there are like 50 asians and 3 black dudes. Hehe, but it's so fun... I love it! I finally can learn masculine dances~! PLUS they competed in NYC at Prelude this past Spring. I'm so excited, you don't even know! :D

We have shirts that say "FSA MEANS FAMILY" and it totally reigns true. I love everyone in the group, and we are all really close. They also have a Kuya/Ate (pronounced Ah-tay) program which is like a Big Brother/Big Sister type thing. I'm an Ading haha! My official Kuya and Ate are really the best, I feel really close to them and I don't even know a lot about them, but we all talk a lot and they are in Fresh Off the Beat with me so we see each other constantly. Kuya Vicencio and Ate Katrina were already close to begin with so I'm just adding to the family... I'm so happy, it's so much fun!! Ate and I are gunna get Kuya a girlfriend by the end of this year! He hasn't had one since 10th grade and he's a junior in college now! He is really attractive, muscular and has a great smile, it's just that he's too shy to ask a girl out.

Ate Katrina, me and Kuya Vicencio~!

I love college and I've only been there two weeks. I say "there" because right now I'm sitting on my bed with my cat cleaning herself next to me. One of the biggest reasons I came home... I miss my pets so much.

I have been having a really rough week emotionally. But not in the, "my week sucked!" kind of way... more in the fact that I have been experiencing a lot of extreme peaks of happiness, sadness and anxiety. When it boils down to it, the root of the problem is that there is a guy that I really like a lot and I think that he likes me sort of, but he is trying to go after this other guy and I don't think other guy really wants him? But I'm not sure. The happiness is stemming from being in college and being with an assortment of best friends from over the years. I've been hanging out with them a lot. Also, another guy entered my life this past Wednesday. He's really nice and I ended up staying the night at his house. If I wanted to, I could be in a relationship with him, no doubt. So it's pretty much like this:

Guy A likes me. I like Guy A. I like Guy B more. Guy B might like me? But Guy B likes Guy C. And as for Guy C, well, I don't really know where he stands. I might end up introducing myself to him because I might need to borrow his shorts. You might be wondering how I would go about that if I haven't even introduced myself to him yet, but the truth of the matter is that all four of us guys are all part of the 100  people in ucf's Gay Lesbian Bisexual Student Union. So... yeah.

Also, I have been practicing for Fresh Off the Beat, a hip-hop dance group that stemmed off the Filipino Student Association. Auditions are on Monday, and there is another interest session tonight (Sunday) at 7. It is some of the most exhausting work I've done in my life. If I made the team, I would be practicing on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays for 3 hours a day. Then for the two weeks leading up to a competition I would practice every single day. It'll be really exhausting, but it will be perfect training for my SM/JYP Entertainment auditions. I'm halfway joking... it's something I've been thinking a lot about recently. I dunno if it will ever happen because I'm European and I don't have ANY asian blood, but it's still something I want to try for. If only my singing was above average....

EDIT: When I say I'm European, I obviously mean I'm caucasian, not that I'm citizen of a European nation. lol I'm American.

I am realizing that as much as I want to leave for college, I'm going to miss my pets SO MUCH. Like I'm getting really sad right now. :(

I don't have a picture of the cat outside because I've never thought to take a picture of it lawl. It doesn't even have a real name, we just call it kitty. So cute though. I love Mistyyyy, she is adorbs.

I am going through my like bi-monthly Korean music frenzy right now, except I think that it will now carry on into other things as well. The Wonder Girls need to srsly hurry up with that English album (Eng. Nobody grew on me lololol) because I'm getting impatient.

BUT OMG SNSD'S GENIE IS AMAZING LIKE WHOA. "DJ, put it back on!" mm Taeyeon you are pretty but I like Jessica the best sorry lol and Yoona is really cute too haaaaaaaha! I am surprised I know their names (or some of their names...) 9 member girl group wtf.

But then I discovered Shinee, and their music is okay but THEIR FASHION is the greatest ever omg love it. I found them because I thought Key was really hot and dressed really well in a performance they did with SNSD omgggg

Only male singer I have ever been drawn too. It's his hair, I'm telling you. I wouldn't be surprised if I had that hair by December.... I plan on lightening it quite soon, actually!

Okay
so last week KFC hired this guy who was a complete jerk to the company itself. Derek (this guy's name) gave away free chicken to the extent that we were 120 pieces short at the end of the night. Also, I just was informed yesterday that he stole at least $100 dollars from a register. On Tuesday, I was talking with a fellow coworker about how we were surprised Derek's hours weren't crossed out yet (the sign that you've quit/been fired).... we were waiting for him to get fired. Well, lo and behold, I walked into KFC yesterday and his hours were crossed out.

So I asked, "So Derek finally got fired then?" to which my coworker responded, "Oh no, he died."

This guy was like in his early 20's and looked completely healthy to me. He overdosed on some drug. But it gets stranger. Turns out he was the brother of this girl that I went to elementary school with, who I might've called a "good friend" on some sort of occasion... In middle school she got into drugs and eventually dropped out. What's creepier is the fact that they live five houses away from me.

WHAT THE HELL!?

Aggghhh my mom is getting on my nerves so much lately. I know it's probably just that whole "about to leave for college" deal, but I mean for real... when I'm in my room, that means I want privacy, doesn't it?? I don't close my door to my room as a sign meaning "please, COME RIGHT IN" because that's what she usually does and then lays on my bed... I mean, don't get me wrong, I luff her, but god lately it's been so frustrating.

Can I please have some privacy!?!? gahhhhh

I picked up my first book for college yesterday. It's for my honors english class... "The Black Jacobins," OH. I JUST GOT THE TITLE. lol well remember how I was like, "I wish I was studying the French Revolution!"? Yeah, well I just realized now that the revolting party was called the "Jacobins" in France during the Revolution. Hence a book about the Haitian Revolution being called "The Black Jacobins," because they were escaping French rule.

Wow, I'm thick sometimes. It rang a bell with me when I picked it up, but I didn't really give it any though. I'm kind of excited though, because Napoleon was a general, and I love reading about him.

I just spent $352 on textbooks for college. There was a while when I thought I'd be able to manage in college financially, and then I saw this (and though it's cheaper than most sets, [thank GOD for half.com]) and I'm just like "ohhhh well...." It's so much!!! Gahhh.

Also, my English class is going to consist of studying the Haitian Revolution and the involvement of Toussaint L'overture... I dunno. I kind of wish it could be the French Revolution or American colonialism if anything, but whatever.

Furthermore, I am really excited for my Astronomy course... It is one of my only non-honors courses (the other is req. communications), so the class size is like 120 or something and of course it will be in a lecture hall. I dunno what the entire thing entails though! I hear it involves a lot of complicated mathematics, so I guess that'll make me happy in some aspects because I like using brainpower but at the same time.... lol I thought it was gunna be like the course in Harry Potter hahahahahaha x)

I opened up a checking account today! This means that I also got a debit card... however, I ran into the problem with ordering things online, because I do that a lot (with my mom's credit card). But then the woman helping me suggested I get a separate debit card, named "Neill Peterson Online," so I can just transfer the amount of money I need to buy something into that account from my original card. Apparently debit card's are horrible to use online and are basically like "oh hey take my money," so I can only put however much money I'll be spending into the account and it has to be like RIGHT BEFORE I buy something.

This is really great because I've been browsing a couple of things I wanna get...

They are sooo slick! Unfortunately they come with a burly $110 price tag. My mom said she'd pay for at least $60, but I don't want to have to make her do that. I figure I'll just wait 2 more weeks for when my (also awesome) $230-ish pay check comes in and shell out the money for them then. I have to do some hefty calculating though, I want to have more than $200 for when I go to college in my debit account... and I just don't want those. I want those, plus sunglasses, plus this jersey scarf, plus a oxford tees and black skinnies. Hrm.

Why do people consistently make fools out of themselves? Like, not with things that people are actually passionate about or that some people would find cool in context, but with just dumb shit. For example, So You Think You Can Dance is premiering tonight and I guess I just don't understand how people think they can dance? Like, I know it's basically the same thing as American Idol, but the prospect of dancing seems like people would understand more when they couldn't? I don't know... like with singing at least you have the excuse of sounding good in the shower or when you're singing along with a song, but with dancing doesn't this come more obviously? Like I know that when I'm dancing poorly I feel really awkward about it... huh. Maybe it's just because I know I can socially dance well if I try.

This turned into a commentary on people knowing how well they can dance. My original point was I don't understand why people like make OBVIOUS jackasses of themselves. It's just strange.

I LOVE MY MACBOOK PRO. OMG. This thing is so beautiful.... everything on it looks so clean and the colors are SO beautiful. Very rich, very deep... there are some pictures of space on here and it looks like my computer actually has depth to it because that's how deep the blacks are.

AGGGH OMG the only part that frustrates me is that it seems EXTREMELY complicated to get my play counts and ratings and stuff from the PC to here... tons of things telling me to delete this .itl file and rename that .xml file. I don't really understand it, and I think I just kind of jumped the gun to do anything now. I have all my music and all my album covers (except Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, becuase that's not on iTunes for some reason...?) and I don't want to have to go through the process again because I realy don't have all my music backed up on a flash drive (I have about half of it... but I deleted the other half to make room for the second half hahaha).

OH WELL, I LOVE IT IT IS SO PRETTY.

So now, MEME TIME!

01. Anyone who looks at this entry has to post this meme and their current wallpaper at their LiveJournal.
02. Explain in five sentences why you're using that wallpaper!
03. Don't change your wallpaper before doing this! The point is to see what you had on!

I'm using this wallpaper because I've always loved Perfume since I found out about them. I go back and forth between picking wallpapers of Perfume, natural things (like my first wallpaper was a piece of grass with dew on it) and Pokémon. I really like this picture of Perfume a lot and someone made it into a really nice wallpaper. I'm thinking I might change it back to the dew one though XD Yeah, but I love their single Dream Fighter, and this is the promo picture for that, soooo yeah!

My grad party is tonight :)

So... I'm getting my MacBook Pro this Friday. However, being the obsessive apple guy that I am, I'm always checking macrumors.com and reading their forums and stuff. Well the Worldwide Developers Conference is next week and there is talks of upgrades on the MBP's or perhaps a price drop. I know this wouldn't really affect me in the long run (if it's just the price drop, I'm assuming I can get some money back? I think there is some 14 day window...), but some people are speculating that there might be a RAM update to 4GB which would be a MAJOR improvement.

So I'm stumped as to what to do... I've waited forever and had to put it off another week already. I can finally get my hands on my laptop this Friday, but I'm worried that if I do, then a week later it will have been updated and I'll be saying "fuck!"
